Yesterday I shared a new recipe for Homemade Caramel Sauce {that is Paleo, dairy gratuitous, and refined sugar free!} and mentioned that I would exist sharing a super yummy way to employ the sauce afterward this calendar week.

This is it! I was planning on posting this recipe for Caramel Pecan Apple Nachos on Thursday, but I simply couldn't make you wait that long. They actually are that skillful.

I'm non sure this can really exist called a recipe, since information technology only requires a little bit of slicing and a bunch of drizzling, but I'thou calling information technology one anyway. My weblog, my rules. 😉

But really, since this is mostly apples (fiber), some nuts (poly peptide) and a fiddling fleck of refined sugar complimentary goodness drizzled on top…I consider information technology a healthy snack! It would besides make a fun salubrious dessert, perfect for the fall.

My little ones, my married man and I devoured a plate of these guys and happily licked our fingers clean. I hope you and your family unit love them only equally much!

Caramel Pecan Apple Nachos

  • 2 medium fuji apples (gala or granny smith would be swell too)
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans
  • 4 tablespoons Homemade {paleo, dairy free, & refined sugar gratuitous!} Caramel Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted dark chocolate (seventy% cacao or more)*
  • *I just melted 2 modest squares of ane of my favorites - Ghirardelli Chocolate Intense Dark Bar.
  1. Thinly slice both apples. I cut mine into 16 slices each. If yous aren't going to be eating the nachos right away, toss them in a piddling scrap of lemon juice, to keep them from browning.
  2. Warm your Homemade Caramel Sauce and cook your night chocolate. I simply melt mine in the microwave 20-thirty seconds at a fourth dimension, stirring in between each heating.
  3. At present just assemble your nachos!
  4. Starting time with a layer or apples, then add pecans and drizzle with caramel and chocolate. And so top with another little sprinkle of pecans.
  5. Enjoy!
